About the Game
Cartefact is a factory-building automation game where every component — conveyor, machine, splitter, merger — is a card. You lay them down, wire up production chains, and watch your factory come to life.
It takes the systems depth of Factorio or Shapez 2 and expresses it through a card game idiom: compact, readable production chains designed for planning, iteration, and scale.
The core loop: place cards, build production chains, unlock new card types, optimise. Cartefact is about the satisfaction of a perfectly running machine — expressed entirely in cards.
